Our advanced backpacking is designed for backpackers who are trying to take that next step and possibly become a backpacking guide, or just want the skills needed to take their family and friends out in the safest way possible. We will shape this course to your goals and do our all to help you reach those goals.
The difference between our intermediate course to this one will be that you will be running the show from start to finish. Our guides will be there for the help, of course, but we want to try and help you to get to the point where you can lead your own backpacks with confidence!
Backpack locations will vary each trip and depending on the ability levels of the group. We will run trips all over the White Mountains and in Vermont including but not limited to Mt. Washington, The Presidential Range, The Baldfaces, Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch, Mt. Mansfield (VT), Camel’s Hump (VT), and many more! Come experience the great outdoors and enjoy a few days of solitude with WMG!
WMG will pick the best suitable venue for each course.
