  • Firearm Safety and Marksmanship Our course also covers practical scenarios in firearm safety, concealed carry options, storage and marksmanship thru a live-fire exercise at the conclusion of the training. A CCW license not only waives the 3-day wait for firearm purchase but also grants reciprocity in other states. Take this step towards responsible concealed carry.

Duration:

4 hours incorporating both classroom Instruction and Range Time.

Price:

$79 per student and classes are kept small in number. Private personalized classes are offered.

Age and Requirements:

Participants must be 21 years of age or older to submit for this State license. You must be a US or naturalized citizen. You must Not have a mental or physical impairment that would prevent safe firearm handling.

What to bring:

Bring a valid driver's license or valid Gov. Identification (ID). Bring your own firearm for a personalized shooting experience. Ensure you're ready with a minimum of 50 rounds of correct ammunition for your firearm. Bring your own eye and ear protection. No open toe shoes, low cut shirts or blouses for safety reasons on the range. Water bottles are alllowed with screw on type lids.

*Should you forget, Outpost Range provides in-store sales of firearm rentals for the class, along with a range of ammunition, eye and ear protection.

Expectations:

Arrive 15 minutes prior to the course for check-in.

If you anticipate any issues or delays with arrival, notify the Pro Shop in advance. Only course participants are allowed on the range, sorry no spectators are permitted.

Participants are encouraged to have a basic understanding of handgun operation before attending this class. For those without prior basic handgun knowledge, we recommend considering our Handgun Fundamentals course first.
