This 5.5 hour semi-private guided tour explores the origins of the Impressionist movement. Start at the Orsay Museum where you will enter directly into its main collection of artwork by the likes of Monet and Cezanne. Then head to the Montmartre neighborhood and experience the environment that served as a backdrop to these artists’ lives. The tour can welcome up to 8 guests and includes transportation between the two locations.
Begin at the Orsay Museum, where our charming young guides will lead you through the repurposed, century-old train station that today showcases explore the artistic evolutions that led to the Impressionists.
From Manet’s scandalous “Luncheon on the Grass” to Renoir’s “Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette,” our engaging guides will discuss the Impressionists and their innovative techniques.
