This Course is designed to be eight hours in length to meet the requirements set forth by the Colorado General Assembly. CRS 18-12-202.7
During Smoke Wagon 1.0 we focus on all the fundamentals that have been taught to US Army Special Operations soldiers to include Rangers and Special Forces (Green Berets) The pistol fundamentals that we cover are broken down in a manner that can be understood by a brand new shooter who has never shot a pistol in their life. The fundamentals are Stance, Grip, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Trigger Press, Trigger Reset, Breathing, and Follow Through.
The course will also cover the following in cohesion with Colorado State Law: Knowledge and Safe Handling of firearms and Ammunition; Safe Storage of Firearms; Federal and State laws regarding ownership, purchase, transportation, and use of a firearm; the use of deadly force for self-defense; interaction with law enforcement; techniques to avoid attack and managing violent encounters. *Students will need to achieve a passing score of 80% on an open book exam as well as an accuracy of at least 70% as decided by instructor.

Each class is 18 and up without an adult present, however classes where a child is to attend is at the discretion of the instructor depending on their assessment of the individual child.
