Jump aboard and explore the inshore reefs along the Port Douglas coast that meet estuarine waterways and river systems.
Our inshore charters offer multiple reefs within 15 -20 mins of the dock giving or try some estuary fishing at the mouth of the Dickson's inlet, known for catching the odd elusive Barra and Mangrove Jack, in the right conditions. Our covered deck area allows for comfortable fishing in all weather. Croc spotting is also a possibility on this tour.
The MV White Cloud‘s capacity is up to 8 guests with 2 crew. (Room to fish 6 -7 Adults at once ) Perfect for friends and family groups, And you are happy to rotate fishing.
Note - We encourage catch and release where possible we also recommend if you are looking for bigger take home fish to book a full day outer reef charter.
Bottom fish using light tackle, or trolling the local experienced crew have lots of top spots marked to give you the best chance of catching the target inshore target species.
Target species: Juvenile reef species Nannygai, Trout , Mangrove Jack, Barramundi, Finger mark, Cod, Trevally.
Inclusions: All fishing Gear, Bait, Ice, Water, Softdrink. BYO snacks.
Sun protection including long shirt, sunglasses. hat and sunscreen.

Bring appropriate fishing weights to handle reef structures and keep bait near the bottom.
Keep a safe distance from shoreline habitats where crocodiles may be present.
