They’ll investigate local waterways, hike through the lush coastal rainforest, and paddleboard down Portage Creek! Of course, no exploration would be complete without encountering the iconic salmon, a keystone species that connects the forest to the sea.

During the Oceans & Intertidal Zones week, campers will take to the seas! They’ll sea kayak in Resurrection Bay, delve into the mesmerizing world of tidepooling, and engage in coastal stewardship activities.
