Duration - 6 hours approximately Start - Bus departs our store at 10.30am Return shuttle - 4pm from Black Barn winery (back in Napier by 4.30pm)
Distance 20km - most people take around 2 hours to cycle this route, and we recommend allowing at least 1/2 hour for wine tasting and at least an hour for lunch.
Every hire includes bike as specified (electric or regular), helmet, lock, bag, map with friendly advice, transport to and from the ride and mechanical assistance for a hassle free experience.
(Our e-bikes come in XXS-XL sizes, minimum height is 140cm. We don't have age restriction as long as riders fit the e-bike and those bellow 18 years old are accompanied with a guardian. Child pricing - 16 years of age or younger on regular bike.)
We will take you and your bike to Clifton trail head to start your ride. You can start your day with a coffee in the historic sheep station – now the Hygge Cafe. Explore beautiful Cape Coast with couple of wineries to visit. The cycle trail will then take you to Haumoana estuary and follows the Tukituki River with stunning views of Te Mata Peak. Soak in the scenery and pop in to one of the wineries along the way for a lunch and wine tasting.
Return to Napier by our shuttle bus leaving from Black Barn winery at 4pm.
