The joy of mastering something new in an exciting terrain, together with confident instructors, becomes a memory for life. The climbing field, a mountain wall about 28 m high, is located a short distance from Ulriken. Accessible via cable car (6 min), or a walk of about 1 hour up.
If we are lucky with the weather, you have a view of both the city fjord and Folgefonna glacier where you hang in the mountain wall. Climbing and rappelling can be done with different levels of difficulty for both adults and children. No requirement for physical fitness. This is perfect for groups who want to experience something together. We emphasize that there are easy routes, and the offer is aimed at those without much experience.

Safety Briefing: Our experienced guides will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary gear.
Rock Climbing: The highlight of the day! Climb to new heights, both literally and metaphorically, as we conquer the rock faces of Mt. Ulriken 643. Our skilled guides will provide support for climbers of all skill levels.
Debrief and Reflection: After the climb, we'll gather for a debrief session and share our reflections on the day's experiences. What did we learn? How did we overcome challenges together?
Lunch with a view: NMG do not include lunch, but "Skyskraperen restaurant at Mt.Ulriken top station offer delicious lunch while enjoying Bergen's best panoramic views. Alternatively, you can eat your own packed lunch on the climbing field.
We do not offer open booking/public tour for climbing. Private tour only. The price depends on the number of participants. It is naturally more expensive for 1:1 than for a group of 5. The maximum number of participants is 5 each guide and 20 pax totally. If you want less waiting time and more climbing, you can book an extra guide. See calendar for price and dates.
