About This Adventure

Embark on an exhilarating guided hike up Segla, the majestic peak of Senja, standing 639 meters tall. Experience breathtaking views of Mefjord and the rugged landscape, with opportunities for stunning photography. Feel the thrill as you peer over the sheer cliffs, and keep an eye out for the enchanting Northern Lights!

When the colors hit the coastline of Senja - then there is no better place to go hiking in the mountains!

Segla is towering high above the small village Fjordgård and is the queen of Senja’s mountains. A steep trail leads up the southern side of the mountain to the peak 639 meters above sea level. At the top, there are wonderful views of Mefjord and the surrounding mountains. The sheer western cliff will give an adrenaline kick to anyone brave enough to have a glimpse over the edge.

You will have endless possibilities of taking the best picture on the way, and maybe you will get a glimpse of the Northern Lights, which appear already from the end of August!

What?

  • 7 h of guided hiking tour (incl. transfer)
  • Packed lunch, 1 soft drink and 1 hot drink

Who?

  • Minimum age: 12 years old
  • Children under 36 kg or 135 cm must use a child safety seat. Please, tell us when you book.
