This is our favorite big alpine ridge in the Lofoten Islands, the positioning, climbing, and views are world class. Vågakallen is a massive peak and stands right above the Norwegian Sea. If your looking for a nice day climb that encompasses all Lofoten has to offer then you must climb the North Ridge of Vågakallen.
We supply the Ropes, Rock Rack, and all technical equipment. Climbers will need to have rock shoes, harness, and helmet (rentals available). You will carry your own small back pack on this route with clothes, water, food, and light shoes for the descent. We supply the rest.
