Discover the ultimate way to experience Lake Tahoe with the Clearly Explorer — a unique 3-hour adventure that blends a scenic boat cruise with a guided clear kayak tour, all in one seamless journey. Departing from South Lake Tahoe, guests cruise across crystal-clear waters to reach some of the lake’s most beautiful and secluded paddle destinations. Far from the crowded beaches, the Clearly Explorer showcases hidden stretches of shoreline that are raw, untouched, and naturally breathtaking. Upon arrival to the destination, kayaks are launched directly from the boat for a 1 to 1.5-hour guided tour through Tahoe’s crystal-clear waters.
As Lake Tahoe’s only point-to-point kayak tour, the Clearly Explorer lets you cover more shoreline than any other experience — with the freedom to paddle at your own pace and return to the boat anytime. Aboard, guests can enjoy complimentary amenities, a restroom, complimentary snacks, everything needed for a relaxing and immersive day on the water. With no set route and a focus on exploration, comfort, and discovery, the Clearly Explorer is the perfect way to truly EXPLORE.
Additional Information: All safety lectures, instruction and tour will be verbally provided in English. The destination of the Clearly Explorer varies based on wind and water conditions.

Seating Options: Boats can be seated for 1-2 guests (age and weight limitations apply). Single Boats will accommodate 1 guest. Double Boats will accommodate two guests. Rate is per person and determined by age and seating arrangement.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Combined weight is 375lbs per boat. Children under the age of 12 must ride in a vessel with an adult 18 years of age or older.

Description of Inclusions: Clearly Tahoe provides everything our guests should need during their time on the water including but not limited to small coolers with complimentary water and granola bars, USCG approved PFDs and dry bags.

What to Wear: Guests should wear comfortable light layers as well as shoes that can be removed easily. We highly recommend hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Light jackets are suggested for when the vessel is underway. Swimsuits are optional but not required.
What to Bring:
Please note: While our guests tend to stay relatively dry during this experience, all participants and belongings are subject to getting wet. Clearly Tahoe is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. Electronics and valuables should be left in a safe place.
Check-In: Guests MUST arrive to our Clearly Tahoe Keys Marina Shop 30 minutes prior to scheduled activity for check-in. All participants must complete electronic liability waivers prior to departure. Guests who miss their scheduled check in might miss their tour. Missed tours are non-refundable.

Location: Our Clearly Tahoe Keys Marina Shop is located within the Tahoe Keys Marina in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Our shop can be found by entering the marina and driving past Mariners Express towards the boat ramp. Our shop is located around the corner from Captain’s Corner and can be identified by the "Clearly Tahoe" sign above the door.
Parking: Parking within the Tahoe Keys Marina area can be difficult between 10am and 4pm during the summer season. We highly recommend ride-shares and public transportation options when possible. Lake Link is highly recommended. Guests who attempt to drive to the Tahoe Keys Marina should allow extra time to find parking and be prepared to walk a longer distance if necessary.
