On a humid Singapore morning the stone steps of City Hall still hold the echoes of colonial boots while the river below glints with traffic and glass towers. You step away from the metro into a corridor of neo‑Gothic arches, civic lawns and bronze plaques, then follow a licensed guide toward the quay where a low‑slung wooden bumboat waits to slide into the current.

The shared tour lasts about 3 hours and includes an English‑speaking licensed guide, walking stops through the Civic District and a 40‑minute Singapore River bumboat cruise (boarding at Clifford Pier or Clarke Quay).
Meet at City Hall MRT Exit B (street level); arrive at least 10 minutes before departure. The guide will hold a "Haloo Tour" sign.
