This is a stunning way to check out all major iconic sights of Melbourne from a unique water-level perspective. After a quick briefing and paddling lesson, participants will get kitted up and head downriver under the Princes Bridge and into the heart of Melbourne. The tour will continue along the Yarra River past Flinders Station and up to the iconic Polly Woodside Tallship at South Wharf before entering the Docklands precinct and the beautiful Yarra’s Edge Marina. After a short dinner break the paddlers then head back upstream past Crown Casino for the Gas Brigades and lively South Bank district before finishing back at Boathouse Drive.
With a fleet of extremely stable 2-person sea kayaks, the experience will be comfortable for first-time paddlers.
Our tour ends at the boat landing area at the Rowing Sheds, right in the heart of Melbourne, and directly across the river from Federation Square.

Please meet at 1-7 Boathouse Drive, directly across the Yarra River from Federation Square on the river bank in front of the Rowing Sheds.
Arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour for safety instructions and a paddling lesson.
Dress in layers and bring a waterproof jacket in case of rain or wind on the river.
All paddling equipment is supplied, including life jackets; personal gear should be minimal and secure.
Parking near Boathouse Drive is limited; use public transit or rideshare for hassle-free access.
