This Messina tour from the port is one of the Messina shore excursions that will take you to explore the legendary beauty of the natural side of Messina Sicily: you will reach the mariner villages, the lakes of Ganzirri and Capo Peloro, located in northeastern Sicily.
You can admire the majestic view of the Strait of Messina between Sicily and the Italian mainland. In the summertime, you will be able to see the swordfishing activity by typical boats named felucas.
The second part of the Messina tour will continue in the downtown of the city with a visit to the Cathedral and the Bell Tower. You will discover the Arab–norman style of Catalani’s church, the Sanctuary of Montalto, and the Temple of Christ the King with the spectacular view overlooking the Strait of Messina and the port.
