Christmas Party Nights at Bonnington Dublin: Dinner, Tribute Acts & Dancing

At Bonnington Dublin on Swords Rd, Whitehall, Dublin 9 (D09 C7F8), the city’s holiday calendar flips from ordinary to exuberant for a limited run of Christmas Party Nights. These five-hour evenings are adults-only (18+) and combine a three-course festive dinner, live tribute acts — ABBAesque, George Michael, Tina Turner (Proud Mary & Her City Limits Band) and The Boney M Experience — and a DJ set that keeps the dance floor moving until 12:30 a.m. It’s an easy, high-energy option for groups, colleagues, and anyone who wants one seamless evening of food, music, and late-night cheer. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; dinner service begins at 8:00 p.m.; and the headline performance usually starts around 9:30 p.m., with the DJ stepping up as the show winds down. Seating is at shared round cabaret-style tables of eight to ten, so smaller bookings can expect neighbouring guests; the hotel recommends informing staff in advance if you want to sit together. The event is staged in-house at Bonnington Dublin, with McGettigan’s Pub on site for after-show drinks and a lively extension of the party. What sets these nights apart is the production value and the convenience. The hotel offers overnight rooms—single or double/twin with breakfast—so you can make a night of it and avoid late-night travel. Bonnington Dublin is fully accessible, which keeps the evening welcoming to a wide range of guests. Sales are final and non-refundable, and scheduling may vary slightly on the night as the team adapts to deliver the best possible experience. In practical terms, the event works best for groups who want minimal planning and maximum atmosphere: book the dinner-and-show package, arrive early to settle in, and consider reserving rooms on-site using promo code XMAS26 if you want to keep the evening simple. If you prefer a quieter meal, plan to arrive at the hotel bar first and enjoy pre-show drinks before dining. The nights also offer a touch of Dublin’s contemporary music scene through tribute acts that channel international pop and soul. For visiting travelers, this is a festive alternative to city-center club crawls: accessible by local taxi or short drive from central Dublin, it’s a contained, well-produced night out. Whether you’re organising an office party, a family celebration, or a friends’ reunion, the Bonnington Dublin Christmas Party Nights are a straightforward way to celebrate the season with food, classics, and plenty of danceable moments. Consider booking transport in advance if your group is large, check accessibility requests when you reserve, and bring ID to match the 18+ policy. Note that menus can change, so flag dietary needs at booking. These nights reward straightforward planning with an efficiently joyful holiday night that feels local and utterly easy to enjoy
