  • Get to know the charm of Puebla, a perfect mix of history, tradition, culture, natural beauty and gastronomy
  • Explore the Great Pyramid at Cholula, walk through the archeological site (closed on Sundays and Mondays) and know all the history of the Cholultecan Culture
  • Ascend to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Remedies that is just above the pyramid
  • Surprise yourself with the colorful architecture of the Santa María Tonantzintla church and the San Francisco Acatepec temple.
  • Enjoy the splendor of Puebla's colonial buildings, its streets, and its colors that honor its nickname "Puebla de los Ángeles"
  • Enjoy the dishes which portray the gastronomical crafts of ancient Mexico and the colonial era.(meal not included)
  • Visit the Rosary Chapel, considered the 8th wonder of the world at the time.
  • Puebla sweets are considered a delight since the Colonial era, stroll down Calle de los dulces to find its greatest variety.

What to Expect

  • Upon arriving to the city of Cholula, we will visit the Museum and the archeological site (closed on Sunday and Monday).

  • Ascend to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Remedies church that is in the edge of the hill of the Pyramid.

  • Later, we will visit the churches of Santa María Tonantzintla and San Francisco Acatepec, both unique for their interior decoration where indigenous motifs are combined with Catholic elements. The natives of Tonatzintla, needed to represent in the dome of the sky chapel of Tlaloc, the god of rain, and every little face that is seen, is not an angel, but a native who died by a beam or drowned and reincarnated in this sky.

-In the city of Puebla we will taste the local food, traditional Pueblan dishes such as mole, chalupas, and enchiladas of three moles.(not included)

  • At the end of the meal we will take a walk to visit the Rosary Chapel, the street of sweets, the artists neighborhood and the alley of the toads, ending the visit in the cathedral of Puebla. At the end, those who wish will have some free time to walk on their own. Once this visit is over we will return to Mexico City.

Note: Not suitable for people who suffer from back pain, heart conditions and pregnant women . Suitable for adults and children who can take long walks.

  • On Mondays, the rosary chapel closes at 12:30 p.m., if your tour is on this day, we will change the visit to an optional site.
