The city exhales as the sun drops behind the skyline and the lakefront lights begin to glow. You stand on a Segway at the foot of Columbus Drive, helmet secured, the footsteps of the city receding into a low hum while the lake dares you to glide farther. Over two hours you'll move through Grant Park, past Buckingham Fountain, along the Museum Campus and out to a lakeside vantage reserved for this evening run — a secret spot where Navy Pier's fireworks burst against the skyline.
