Northern Lights Over Grundy County presents the Northern Lights Christmas Drive‑Thru Light Show (Nov 24–Dec 31) and Wind 101 beginner windsurfing lessons with all equipment included.
Northern Lights Over Grundy County operates seasonal holiday and recreational experiences in Morris, Illinois. The business produces the Northern Lights Christmas Drive-Thru Light Show, a mile-and-a-half route of themed displays featuring over one million lights running annually from November 24 to December 31. Ticketed options include General Admission, a VIP Pass with priority entry and access to on-site food from Grill Masters, and accommodations for Oversized Vehicles. The drive-thru format allows families to remain in their vehicles while enjoying coordinated light scenes across themed areas.
In addition to the holiday light show, Northern Lights Over Grundy County offers Wind 101, a beginner windsurfing lesson that runs for two hours and includes all necessary equipment. Wind 101 focuses on introductory balance and wind-handling techniques to help first-time windsurfers gain confidence on the water. All offerings are held at locations near Morris, Illinois, and the seasonal drive-thru schedule is explicitly dated from November 24 through December 31.
Information about dates, ticket types, and trip summaries is published by the organizer and featured on The Adventure Collective. The combination of a large-scale illuminated drive-thru and a beginner water-sport lesson provides distinct seasonal and recreational options for visitors. Prospective attendees can select the product that matches vehicle size, desired amenities, or outdoor activity preferences.
Scheduling and availability vary by season; attendees should consult official event listings for current ticketing information, vehicle restrictions, lesson schedules, equipment requirements, and any age or safety guidelines before attending either the drive-thru light show or Wind 101 windsurfing lesson.
