This tour is designed especially for wine & food lovers! A tour in the Chianti region and its main wine valleys.

Chianti wine and food, culture and heritage offering visitors the chance to meet the personalities behind the wine industry. Your tour driver will welcome you at the dock beside your cruise ship in Livorno, to explore the beautiful hill country of the Chianti region.

You will enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside rolling hills dotted by vineyards, cypress trees, olive trees and Medieval villages, castles and fortresses. Your first stop will be at Greve in Chianti, the main capital of the wine region that boasts a friendly atmosphere with its attractive features and countless wine bars, called Enoteca which offer local wine and olive-oil tastings.

Visit a winery in the hearth of the Chianti region for your tour and tasting session After visiting the vineyard and the cellar, sit back, relax and sip on different wines. Depending on availability, there are different wines offered, but typically a glass of Chianti Classico, Chianti Reserve, the Tuscan vinsanto (dessert wine) or a prestigious white wine are served, along with the wonderful explanations of the Sommelier.

Your tour driver will be happy to suggest some typical, local traditional Tuscan restaurants in the area, or if you wish can be set up in the same winery. After lunch you will visit some other agricultural estates.A real treat, for those of you docked in Livorno!
