The river opens like a throat through jungle—cool, narrow, and impatient. In the first bend you feel the current pull at the bow, the raft rising and falling over a Class III break as teak and banyan trees lean in to watch. Over the next sections the rapids sharpen: a sequence of class III and IV drops that demand coordinated strokes and quick braces from every paddler before the final, continuous run back to base camp.
