3 hours per week for 4 weeks

About

Let’s get muddy with clay. Class meets once per week for 3 hours. The goal of the class is to learn the art of throwing, practice as much as you can during open studio hours and to complete your projects. Skills taught include throwing, trimming, attachments, and glazing.

Lots of one on one time allows students to progress independently.

Class includes 1 bag of clay, tools and studio practice time during our regular open studio hours. Studio is open Mondays / Tuesdays 6-9 pm Thursday / Friday 11 - 5 pm Saturday / Sundays 10 - 5 pm

No wet clay after the session is complete, but projects may be finished up during the four weeks following your class session. Week 1 - throwing bowls, tumblers and plates Week 2 - continues throwing practices Week 3- trimming, adding handles or adding texture Week 4 - glazing your pieces

Ages 8-16: All participants between the ages of 8 and 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Ages 17+: Participants aged 17 and older may register independently without a parent or guardian.
