December to March and February to April windows often offer cooler, drier conditions and better visibility in the highlands, though brief showers can occur year-round.
Trekking charges at Adam’s Peak, Horton Plains and Knuckles are included; your guide handles local permits and entry fees.
Expect moderate to strenuous sections: Horton Plains is a sustained 3–4 hour walk, Knuckles can involve 6–8 hour ridge hikes with steep and uneven footing.
Children under 10 and travelers with serious back or heart problems are not recommended; the tour is not wheelchair accessible.
