Moderate cardiovascular fitness and the ability to carry tanks/gear; comfortable swimming and diving stamina required.
Many cenotes require Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent due to depth and overhead features; the operator will verify credentials before diving.
Participants must be medically fit for diving and complete a health questionnaire; certain conditions or pregnancy are contraindications.
The package includes two tanks per day, weights and belt; other personal gear like masks, computers, and lights may be rented or should be brought by the diver.
Private hotel pickup and drop-off are included; daily schedules vary with cenote distance—expect mornings starting around 7–9am and returns between early afternoon and late afternoon.
