For over 50 years, Meadow Brook Hall’s annual Holiday Walk has delivered a breathtaking experience, transporting visitors through the historic mansion decked in shimmering splendor.

Holiday Walk is a self-guided indoor event featuring incomparable holiday sights and decorations inside Meadow Brook Hall, the historic mansion and National Historic Landmark located in Rochester on the campus of Oakland University.

Holiday Walk - Santa Saturdays

On Santa Saturdays (Nov. 29, Dec. 6, Dec. 13, Dec. 20), your visit includes a special visit with Santa, in addition to your Holiday Walk touring experience.

Experience the wonder of some 50 magnificent trees, flickering fireplaces, and lights galore! Holiday Walk invites you to explore the 110 room estate from the Grand Ballroom to the lovely Sun Porch and to visit Santa on Santa Saturdays! Perfect for a special date or family outing.

Visitor Information

The Holidays at Meadow Brook will take place rain, snow or shine. Parking is free and available onsite in Lot 61.

Please note, Meadow Brook will be closed daily from 4-5:30 p.m. to reset the tour route in between the two shows.

Meadow Brook Hall

Meadow Brook Hall is the historic home built by one of Michigan’s most remarkable women, Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of automobile pioneer John Dodge, and her second husband, lumber broker Alfred Wilson. Constructed between 1926 and 1929, for $4 million, Meadow Brook Hall represents one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival architecture in America.
