About This Adventure

Join the celebration at KBR Kids Day, a vibrant, free event in Buffalo Bayou Park marking its 10-year anniversary! Families will enjoy a day filled with captivating performances, a Halloween costume parade, and engaging activities from local partners. Experience the joy of community and creativity in a picturesque setting!

Festive family fun on the bayou!

KBR Kids Day is a free annual event for the entire community. Thousands of children and their families will gather at Tony Marron Park in the Buffalo Bayou East to experience a full day of fun with exciting activities for all ages. This year, we have a special ground-breaking activity as we bid a temporary farewell to Tony Marron Park before it begins construction in late 2024.

KBR Kids Day activities include:

Hands-on nature activities Pumpkin carving by local artists Rock climbing wall Scavenger hunt Invasive Plant Eradication Unit Birding and nature walks Music and dance performances Birds of prey show Halloween costume parade And more to come!

Halloween costumes are encouraged!

Free parking will be available at 4100 Clinton Dr (just east of Hirsch Street) with a complementary shuttle service to and from the event.

If you plan to take I-10 East to arrive at the event, we recommend taking the Jensen / Gregg St exit rather than the Waco St exit to avoid stalled trains. Once you exit the freeway at Jensen / Gregg St, turn left onto Clinton Dr and proceed to the parking entrance at 4100 Clinton Dr.
