Celebrate Craft Brewing and Wellness at Big Elm Brewing’s 13th Anniversary

Located in Sheffield, Massachusetts, Big Elm Brewing sits at the heart of the Berkshires, a region celebrated for its natural beauty and strong artisan traditions. This year, Big Elm Brewing celebrates 13 years of craft brewing success with a special combined event that invites enthusiasts to relax, rejuvenate, and rejoice in the community spirit. The Big Elm Brewing 13th Anniversary event offers a rare opportunity to experience contrast therapy through HUHT’s wood-fired sauna and cold plunge, paired with the brewery’s renowned award-winning beers and live music. It’s a unique celebration that merges wellness with the vibrant craft beer culture that defines this corner of New England. The Berkshires provide a compelling backdrop for this event, celebrated for their rolling hills, dense hardwood forests, and crystal-clear streams. Big Elm Brewing embraces this environment by creating beers that reflect the character of the region—bold, thoughtful, and crafted with local ingredients whenever possible. Their brewery, located at 65 Silver Street, acts as a communal hub where locals and visitors alike can gather to share stories and experiences. What makes this celebration especially distinctive is the integration of HUHT’s sauna and cold plunge contrast therapy. Attendees step into a wood-fired sauna infused with essential oils, where heat envelops the body, opening pores and loosening muscles. This is followed by a brisk cold plunge that invigorates circulation and sharpens the senses—a wellness ritual gaining popularity among athletes and outdoor adventurers for its restorative effects. Guided by knowledgeable sauna hosts, participants enjoy a full hour of this time-honored therapy, perfect for resetting both mind and body. Paired alongside this wellness experience are Big Elm’s signature brews—carefully crafted beers that have earned recognition across the Northeast. Sip on well-balanced IPAs, rich stouts, or crisp lagers while live music sets the tone for an afternoon of community connection and celebration. This event embraces a welcoming atmosphere for ages 18 and over and offers walk-in access, though reservations are recommended due to limited space. For travelers, the closest city is New Marlborough, a charming spot where you can extend your visit with scenic hiking and local dining. This anniversary event offers something more than a typical brewery visit—it’s a chance to engage deeply with the culture of craft brewing, explore wellness traditions, and celebrate a thriving local business at the core of Berkshire outdoor recreation and hospitality.
