CATucky Derby Party: Doylestown's Quirky Cat Races, Hats & Derby Drinks

CATucky Derby Party: an evening in Doylestown, Pennsylvania that turns the traditions of the Kentucky Derby sideways with cats, cocktails, and hats. Held in Doylestown (Pennsylvania), this two-hour, all-ages-5+ social event gathers up to 75 guests for a quirky, inclusive party experience. Expect a small performance space converted into a derby track for playful cat races, derby-approved drinks, tasting stations, a best-hat contest for both guests and feline friends, and lively mingling under accessible conditions. The experience begins with a 45-minute assemble-and-party period where hosts guide arrivals, pour derby-inspired cocktails, and stage small games at themed stations. Around 6:15 the runners and their handlers make an appearance; guests meet the cats, learn which animals will take the track, and line up for the hat contest. The program moves fast: judges crown the best hat among guests and cats, then the highlight - race time - brings unpredictable, joyful energy as kittens attempt to sprint a short, improvised track. It’s not about precision; it’s about the shared surprise and laughter that comes when animal temperaments collide with human plans. Practical details matter: the event is two hours, has a group cap of 75, and requires attendees to be at least five years old. There are no cancellations allowed, so plan carefully. Check-in happens at the desk and parking is available out back. Accessibility is noted as "yes"; patrons with mobility concerns should confirm specifics with the organizer before arrival. The hosts emphasize dressing sharp - large hats encouraged - and advise a playful sense of humor. Food and drink elements are described as "delectables" and derby-approved cocktails, though specific menu items are set by the operator. Why book this with a visit to Doylestown?
