Several times a month, we make the trip over to Lanai. Possible dive sites include the Cathedrals sites, Shark Fin, Lighthouse, and more!

Times

Check in is at 6:15 in the morning and we return to the harbor between 2:00 - 3:00.

About

Keep your fingers crossed for dolphins - this is the trip where you're most likely to get to see some on the way to or from the island of Lanai. Once we get to Lanai, the captain will choose the day's sites based on conditions and other local boat traffic. Prepare to experience great swim throughs and underwater ledges as well as some fish we don't get to see in other locations.

The main attraction of the Cathedrals is the lava tubes themselves. These massive caverns create a cathedral-like atmosphere, with sunlight filtering through the cracks in the ceiling. The walls of the caverns are often covered in coral and sponges, and you may see a variety of marine life, such as eels, turtles, sharks, and even dolphins.

We have juice, sodas, water, snacks and lunch on board for you today. Since this is a longer charter, divers are welcome to bring additional food, as long as it fits on their under-bench dry storage.

Note If it has been more than two years since your last dive, the Maui Diamond requires that you take a guided dive or a refresher ahead of time or hire a private guide for your boat dives.

Do you need rental gear? No problem! We can provide you with a BCD and regulator (and whatever else you may need) for just $30.

DIVER MEDICAL FORM REQUIRED: All certified divers are required to complete a medical history form and some will be required to obtain their physician's release to participate in scuba diving. Here's a link to the form for easy reference and in case it's needed for a doctor visit. Divers who are required to obtain a medical release to dive and who show up without one will be welcomed aboard as passengers but will not be able to dive and will not be refunded. We'd rather get to take you diving, so please get this done!

The Small Print: Though we are planning to dive Lanai, Mother Nature is the ultimate boss of what we do. Should we find ourselves in conditions that do not allow us to safely dive at Lanai, we will find another more appropriate site or two and take it from there. We will not issue refunds if we find that the weather will not permit us to dive at a certain site. We WILL issue refunds for the cost difference between this charter and the one we actually end up doing if the price is less. Got questions? Just ask!
