Located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Brad Durick Outdoors LLC offers one of the most memorable catfishing experiences on the Red River. This often overlooked stretch of water punches well above its weight in terms of trophy catfish opportunities, thanks in no small part to Brad Durick’s extensive local knowledge and hands-on guiding style. Operating out of the northeast region of North Dakota, Brad’s trips consistently draw anglers eager to hook into channel catfish that regularly surpass state trophy size standards.
The Red River itself, which courses northward through the flat plains before reaching Canada, presents a unique setting defined by wide, slow-moving waters and an abundance of structures ideal for catfish habitat. Brad's understanding of these river dynamics allows him to pinpoint hotspots where catfish congregate, even when water levels vary. Anglers on Brad’s guided trips have reported landing 18 to 32 catfish in a single day, with several notable catches exceeding 30 inches, underscoring why this river is a prime destination for serious catfish hunters.
Beyond the sheer catch numbers, what sets Brad Durick Outdoors apart is his commitment to education and client experience. Multiple reviews highlight his willingness to teach techniques and river nuances, transforming clients into capable anglers who leave with stories and skills to match. The river itself carries a quiet history, having served local communities for centuries as a source of sustenance and livelihood, lending a timeless appeal to the fishing outings.
