Adventure tips

Use reef‑safe sunscreenApply reef‑safe sunscreen before boarding and reapply sparingly between dives; it protects coral and reduces skin irritation in saltwater.

Bring a well‑fitting maskA comfortable, leak‑free mask makes longer snorkel loops more enjoyable and helps prevent taking in seawater while observing the reef.

Take seasickness precautionsIf you’re prone to motion sickness, take medication at least 30 minutes before departure and choose a midship seat for the smoothest ride.

Protect your feet on shoreWear water shoes for getting on and off the beach and to avoid sharp coral or hot sand after snorkeling.

Recommended gear

Snorkel mask and snorkel: A personal, well‑fitting mask improves visibility and comfort during repeated snorkel sessions.
Reef‑safe sunscreen: Protects your skin from UV exposure and reduces harmful chemicals entering the reef.
Water shoes: Useful for boarding, beach access and protecting feet on rocky shoreline.
Light windbreaker or rash guard: Blocks wind on the crossing and provides sun protection between swims.
