The boat slips free of the Romana pier and the Caribbean widens; warm water laps the hull as palms on shore shrink to a low line. By the time the anchor drops off Catalina Island you can feel the sea pull like an invitation — balmy, clear, and eager to show its gardens.

Yes — participants must present a valid scuba certification (Open Water or higher) before diving.
Dive sites include deep reef walls and shallow reef gardens; The Aquarium has a maximum depth around 40 feet (12 m), while The Wall can drop deeper depending on the specific site.
Use of standard scuba equipment is included, but many divers bring a personal mask, snorkel, and fins for comfort and fit.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure; operators may cancel for bad weather.
Catalina Island has long been a local fishing and navigational landmark; its reefs formed from coral growth and carbonate sediments shaped by Caribbean currents.
Stick to reef-safe sunscreen, don’t touch coral or marine life, and follow briefings — local operators work with guides to minimize anchor and diver impact on fragile reefs.
