Cartel vs DEA Theme Game throws players into a staged conflict in Kingston upon Hull, England — a tactical airsoft event that favors planning, aggression, and quick decisions. Over a single day you pick a side, equip up, and move through mission-driven scenarios that pivot between reconnaissance, assault, and extraction. The field is built for close-quarters firefights and objective play: expect contested chokepoints, improvised strongpoints, and entry-intensive scenarios that reward communication and disciplined reloads. This event runs as a full-day operation with a structured schedule: doors open at 09:00, chronograph station opens at 09:30, briefing begins at 10:15 and game-on at 10:30, with an approximate lunch break at 13:00 and an endex at 16:00. Players must be at least 11 years old and arrive before 10:00 to allow for chrono and safety brief. Organizers explicitly ban mesh eye protection and restrict participation for people with epilepsy or similar conditions that are triggered by strobes, flashes, or pyro effects. Soft and hard pyrotechnics, including smokes, are permitted but require judgement and respect for other players. Distinctive details set this event apart. Team-specific kit rules heighten the role-play: Cartel players are asked to avoid camouflage and may favor dark tones, while DEA operatives should wear camo clothing and load-bearing gear to keep teams visually distinct. Anyone who plans to breach doors should bring ankle-supporting footwear—this simple rule reduces sprains and keeps the game moving. A strict chrono policy ensures your replica’s muzzle energy is safe for the scenario and avoids surprise disqualifications at the gate. For visitors, this is more than a skirmish; it’s a concentrated dose of tactical thinking in a venue that emphasizes immersion and consequence. Kingston upon Hull’s industrial edges and the nearby Humber Estuary make an accessible base for a weekend focused on gritty, urban-style scenarios that differ from countryside skirmishes. Groups travel from across Yorkshire and beyond for the structured missions and the social intensity of team competition. Practical tips: bring rated eye protection, sturdy boots, and a spare magazine or battery; mark your kit; check camo rules before you pack. Spaces are limited and sides lock once filled, so booking ahead is recommended. Whether you’re a seasoned operator polishing urban tactics or a newcomer chasing adrenaline and camaraderie, Cartel vs DEA delivers a focused, rule-driven day of airsoft that rewards planning, communication, and clean, safe play. Plan for basic comforts: carry water, high-energy snacks, a charged phone, and a small first-aid kit for blisters or cuts. Label your kit and team items to avoid mix-ups during hectic exchanges. Bring a backup pair of rated goggles—loaners are limited—and arrive early to absorb the safety brief and get chrono'd. Expect basic parking; check public transport options into Hull ahead.
