Rev your morning with a fun ride on a Specialized Turbo Como ebike from downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea along the Carmel coastline and through cottage-lined streets, or through the forest of Pebble Beach along 17 Mile Drive (at guide's discretion based on group and known hazards). You may pass landmarks such as the Tor House, Butterfly House, Carmel River State Beach, and Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch. If you're in Pebble Beach you'll experience the coastline up close in a way most people don't have the opportunity to experience. Take lots of photos and videos so you can share the beauty with your friends who couldn't make it, and then cycle back to the shop.
After you return to Mad Dogs & Englishmen around 1:30, we'll sort your bikes and stretch your legs..
Your Food Tour Leader will arrive and tag in just before 1:30PM to start the remainder of your tour. This two-hour adventure will comprise four tasting locations, and an exploration of Carmel including its history, architecture and culture. We've planned heartier portions at each stop so that you can replenish all that you burned off during your ride. For those over 21, adult beverages are provided at each tasting stop so you can experience the full range of tasty treats. Non-alcoholic options are always available.
Disclaimer: Price includes alcoholic drinks for 3/4 stops. Alcohol is available to guests 21 and over only. Must be able to produce valid ID on request. Enjoy responsibly and arrange for a designated driver or ride share. These are negotiated rates and any additional beverages ordered will not be discounted.
