Explore York’s amazing history, people and architecture – one photo at a time – with a bespoke one to one guided photography walk.

York Photo walks are about learning and developing your photography knowledge, whilst exploring York’s rich history, people and architecture. The aim is to inspire you to stretch your creative legs when you are out and about with your camera.

The walk is completely tailored to you, whether you want to just learn the basics or improve your photography skills the walk will have in depth tuition for all abilities. Bring any camera whether it is a DSLR, Point and shoot, mobile or tablet camera. Learn how to see creatively, and encouraging you to see the world with an artistic eye.

Our route around the city: We will snap away at York Minster, walk along the city walls, take a look at the famous Shambles. Then we go along Fossgate to The Merchant Adverntureres Hall, and visit the Market. We will continue on to the Museum Gardens with visits to The Hospitium, and St Mary’s Abbey. We finish off at Lendal Bridge with top tips along the way.

I am an experienced professional photographer and tutor and am used to working with all ages and groups of various sizes. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
