San Diego’s skyline slides past low and sharp — cruise ships, the USS Midway’s gray hull, and the long arc of the Coronado Bridge — while your mini F13 speedboat stitches wake into the bay. For two hours you are both tourist and pilot, connected by radio to a guide who narrates the maritime history and keeps an eye on the fleet.

No license is required, but you must be 18 or older to operate a boat solo and will receive a safety orientation before departure.
