On an oceanic adventure to snorkel the reefs in historic Kealakekua Bay & near the Captain Cook Monument. We depart from Honokohau Harbor and begin an adventure along the beautiful Kona coastline. You can get here easily by boat but it's a long and arduous hike to reach the Capt. Cook memorial from the cliffs! On the cruise you'll view sea caves and rugged, volcanic landscapes! This trip features personal attention in a small group setting. Join us for this great ocean journey along the historic Kona coast! Includes over an hour of snorkeling time, drinks/snacks, snorkel gear, & floatation.

You will enjoy up to an 1 1/2 hours of snorkeling at Captain Cook Monument, watch dolphins and see flying fish when cruising the rugged Kona coastline..

Please arrive at 8:00am for check-in. Boarding closes at 8:20am so don't miss the boat!

Details

Entering the calm waters of Kealakekua Bay you will snorkel with colorful tropical fish, above emerald green coral gardens and with luck watch Hawaiian spinner dolphins, green sea turtles & humpback whales (During whale watching season - November to March).

See where the famous explorer James Cook first arrived in Hawaii. You will travel close to the site of historic Ka`awaloa village and the home of Hawaiian Royalty.

CHILD Discount Rate: for those 4-12 years of age - $99.95 per child. INFANT Rates are $49.94 for those 1-3 years of age.

RIDE ALONG rates are available for those who will not enter the water - 109.95 per guest.

Guests are welcome to snorkel from ages 8 to 68. While beginning snorkelers are welcome, all snorkelers must be good swimmers. This is not a good activity for those first learning to swim. Those who wish to join the trip without the snorkeling/swimming, can come along as "ride alongs" and enjoy a $10 per person saving.

(This trip is also not for those in wheelchairs or who would find it difficult to climb steep steps to board the boat)
