A low-slung hull parts the Mediterranean at first light, and Sorrento’s cliffs slide behind you. Salt and citrus hang in the air as the skipper eases toward Capri, the island rising sudden and vertical from deep blue. From the deck you’ll watch caves press their faces to the sea and cliffs that seem to have been cut for boats like yours.

Capri has long been a coastal refuge: Roman emperors established villas here (notably Tiberius), and the island’s lighthouse at Punta Carena dates to the 19th century as a key navigational aid.
Capri’s coastal waters contain Posidonia seagrass meadows—anchoring and litter harm these habitats; use mooring fields where provided and avoid single-use plastics.
