You step aboard a low-slung Capri gozzo as the harbor chatter thins and the island’s limestone edges slide into view. The boat hums forward, an awning shading the group while the sea stretches blue and insistent, daring you to look closer. In two hours an expert sailor sketches the island’s coastline in stories and angles—rock stacks, caves and watchtowers—so you leave with a clear map in your mind.
