You step from an air-conditioned vehicle onto wind-swept rock, the Atlantic pushing a spray that tastes of salt and cold. Cliffs fall away to a turbulent blue; Cape Point’s lighthouse perches above the swell while boulders below cradle sheltered coves where African penguins shuffle between surf and sand.
