The tour begins with the city at your back and the Atlantic pulling you toward the horizon. A private vehicle threads through Bo-Kaap’s jewel-toned streets, then hugs the coast as Chapman’s Peak unfurls — cliffs dropping into ocean spray, wind pushing you toward the lighthouse at Cape Point.

Boardwalks allow close viewing but you must remain on the paths; touching or feeding penguins is prohibited to protect their welfare.
Many viewpoints and some boardwalk sections are accessible, but access to the lighthouse and steeper trails may be limited — confirm specific needs with the operator in advance.
Mornings often offer calmer seas and softer light at Boulders; late afternoon brings dramatic views and warmer light at Cape Point but can be windier.
