You step out of the van onto a windy ridge and the world opens: limestone teeth, terraced hills and a river threaded like silver far below. Over five days this private loop moves from the calm, forested basin of Ba Be Lake to the raw cliffs of Ma Pi Leng, with Ban Gioc’s curtain of water and Dong Van’s stony streets in between.
