For thousands of years, boats of various types have glided on the waters of Lake Olkka. Within these serene surroundings, both the Finns and the Sámi lived peacefully, both fishing and traversing the waterways. Step aboard our canoe, which accommodates up to eight paddlers, and immerse yourself in the area’s ancient beauty. The tour commences with a paddling and safety lesson before the journey begins in earnest. Cruise along the lake as the guide shares stories about the region’s history and wildlife. The route is selected based on the weather conditions, for an optimal experience.
We advise bringing suitable outdoor attire and sunscreen.
Special diet options (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) are available upon request.
