About This Adventure
Experience an exhilarating 3-hour water adventure perfect for families and groups aged 7 and up! Begin with buoyancy gear and paddles, then navigate stable Canadian canoes and giant stand-up paddle boards. Enjoy fun games, challenges, and the thrill of splashes, all while learning new skills in a safe environment.

Highlights
A fantastic wet session filled with fun and new skills!
On arrival you will be kitted out with a buoyancy, helmet and paddle then as a team we get the equipment down to the water's edge ready for your session. We use Canadian canoes rafted together to form a very stable catamaran to allow you to get straight on the water without worrying about getting soaked right at the beginning of the session. When you have picked up the skills to manoeuvre your craft we’ll introduce some fun games, challenges and of course races!
Our giant stand up paddle boards are a proper laugh, it will of course be everyone else not paddling in time or rocking the board, never you!!
While you can stay dry, if you wish, during the canoe-rafts session there is a greater chance of 'going in' in this session but that's all part of the fun. There are changing facilities on-site so don't forget your towel and change of clothes. At the end of the session we'll need your help getting the equipment from the water's edge back to the compound.

Important to Know
Whatever you wear for the session will get wet so bring a FULL change of clothes. Footwear needs to be worn on the water and needs to be closed toed & secure so it won't drop off if you fall in: Crocs, wellies or flip flops are NOT suitable. If you wish to bring a wet suit or your own waterproofs that is no problem. Please arrive a few minutes before the start time of your session.

Adventure Tips
Wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear
Avoid Crocs, flip-flops, or wellies; footwear must stay secure if you fall in.
Bring a full change of clothes
You’ll likely get wet, so pack towels and dry clothing for after the session.
Arrive early to get fitted
Arrive a few minutes before the start to receive your buoyancy aid and safety briefing.
Use the slipway gate at Ponden Reservoir
Meeting point is at the reservoir’s slipway, not High Adventure’s main base in Cowling.
