Nesta experiência partimos de Ponta Delgada em direção à freguesia Lomba de São Pedro, no concelho da Ribeira Grande para uma caminhada que nos irá mostrar a costa norte da Ilha de São Miguel. Esta é uma caminhada ideal se gostam de natureza, cascatas e paisagens costeiras. Poderão também aprender sobre as produções agrícolas antigas e os moinhos que eram utilizados nesta zona. Este é um percurso circular e demora cerca de duas horas e meia a percorrer os 5,5 Km de extensão. Começamos a caminhada junto à igreja de São Pedro e os primeiros metros são realizados a descer por um caminho de terra batida em direção ao oceano. Iremos passar pelo miradouro da Rocha antes de chegarmos à cascata do Homem. Continuamos o trajeto que nos irá levar em direção às ruínas do antigo moinho do Félix, cascata do Teófilo, cascata da Gruta e também ao Poço da Truta. Estes são locais de uma beleza imensa e de certeza que irão gostar de fotografar para mais tarde recordar! Na parte final deste percurso iremos encontrar alguns fontanários utilizados para abastecer água à população, antes de regressar à igreja de São Pedro.
