History

Cambridge grew around its medieval colleges from the 13th century onward; the Corpus Clock is a contemporary landmark unveiled in 2008 that contrasts with the city’s ancient stonework.

Conservation

Respect college grounds and wildlife by staying on paths, not feeding birds, and disposing of waste properly; many colleges have strict rules to protect historic turf and gardens.
