Night opens like a curtain over the mopane and miombo woodlands around Victoria Falls—the bush exhales, and the sky seizes the show. You roll off the 4x4 onto compacted red earth, the motor cutting out, and the stars pour down: the Milky Way a pale river, planets steady as beacons, and constellations reassembling stories older than the lodges behind you.
