The Buffalo Room, nestled in the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center, offers a versatile space for events, accommodating up to 40 guests.   • $350 - Weekday Rental: Half Day
  • $550 - Weekday Rental: Full Day
  • $450 - Weekend Rental: Half Day
  • $650 - Weekend Rental: Full Day

Half Day Rentals Morning rental is from 9am until 1pm. Afternoon rental is from 2pm until 6pm.

Full Day Rentals Full day rental is from 9am until 6pm.

Additional Add-On Options:

  • Early Access is available for morning or full-day options on weekdays only, beginning at 8 AM for an additional $100.

  • The projector and screen set up for an additional $50 can be added to any reservation.

About

The Buffalo Room is located in the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center and is rented on a first come, first serve basis. You may reserve the Buffalo Room for a full-day or half-day rental. The rental time frame includes your total access time for the room set-up, your event, and your event clean-up time.

The Buffalo Room can accommodate 32 guests seated at tables or 40 theater style. Your rental includes tables, chairs, white board, podium, WiFi, and a shared kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. Bring in your own food & beverage or make it easy & have it catered from Belltower next door!

We provide a standard room setup. You are welcome to rearrange any of the tables and chairs, but ask that you put them back as found.

Reservations are not confirmed until you pay for your pavilion rental and receive a confirmation email. Items in your cart do not confirm a reservation nor does it hold the pavilion for that time frame.

RULES/FAQs:

Where is the Buffalo Room located? Within the First Horizon Visitor Center located at 6903 Great View Drive North. Memphis, TN 38134. Once parked, enter through the Visitor Center doors. The room will be located left of the front reception desk. (The room has glass doors and windows).

What is included in the room? The Buffalo Room includes tables, chairs, white board, podium, WiFi, and a shared kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink.

May I decorate? Table decorations only. No confetti, glitter, or pinatas. Decorations may not be affixed to the walls, doors, windows, or the metal beams.

Are balloons permitted? Balloons are permitted within the Buffalo Room, but must not be released outside. Take them with you or pop them and throw them away into the garbage.

May I bring in outside catering or provide my own food and beverages? Yes, you may bring in your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Cooking is not allowed in the Buffalo Room.

Can we leave our items in the Buffalo Room while we are exploring the Park? You may leave items in the Buffalo Room, however, Shelby Farms Park is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Leave items at your own risk.

Am I able to have early access to the room to set up for my event? The rental time frame includes your total access time for the room set-up, your event, and your event clean up.

May we move the tables and chairs from the standard room setup? You are welcome to rearrange any of the tables and chairs, but we ask that you put them back as found.

What am I required to do at the end of my event? Leave the room as you found it; throw all garbage in the trash cans provided or dumpster across the street adjacent to the parking lot. Remove all decorations and food from the room.

Cancellations or rescheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis as Buffalo Room availability is subject to change. Please note that Buffalo Room capacity cannot be exceeded.
