A morning breeze off the Indian Ocean cools the hotel veranda as you step out to the pale ribbon of Malindi beach. The town’s low-rise hotels and coral-stone remnants of Swahili trade meet a shoreline that invites slow days—sunbathing, barefoot walks, and casual snorkeling in nearshore reefs—while the itinerary holds a long, wildlife-driven day inland.
easy.
5 days.
Suitable for travelers of average fitness—most days are low-activity beach and hotel time, with one full-day game drive requiring long periods sitting and short walks.
Private transfers are included per the itinerary; confirm your flight details at booking so pickup can be arranged.
Guides search for Big Five species but sightings cannot be guaranteed—Tsavo is large and wildlife sightings depend on luck, season and animal movement.
Full board meals at the Marine Holiday House are included as listed; check whether bottled water and alcoholic drinks are covered or paid locally.
The package lists wheelchair-accessible options but the Tsavo game drive involves long vehicle rides and uneven terrain; discuss individual needs with the operator before booking.
Malindi has centuries of coastal trade history with Portuguese, Omani and Swahili influences visible in its architecture and town layout.
Tsavo faces pressure from poaching and habitat fragmentation; support certified guides, avoid single-use plastics, and follow park rules to minimize impact.
