Dawn breaks over the Lowveld as the shuttle threads out of Johannesburg toward the park: a wide African sky, the silhouette of fever trees at the horizon and a lodge that feels less like a hotel and more like a basecamp for wildlife. On arrival guests change into open-sided 4x4s for an afternoon drive that nudges the senses—elephant trunks browsing, a distant roar, and scrubland light that sharpens every shadow.

Transfers from Johannesburg, two nights accommodation, national park fees, all scheduled game drives, some meals (dinner twice, breakfast twice) and shuttle transfers are included; lunches in the park are generally pay-as-you-go.
Afternoon drives begin around 15:30 and last until dusk; the full-day drive in the Skukuza area runs through the day with a break for lunch at a park restaurant.
The safari is family-friendly; vehicles are accessible and transportation is wheelchair-friendly for transfers, but guests should be able to climb into elevated 4x4s and follow safety rules during drives.
The dry winter months (May–September) are best for concentrated wildlife sightings as animals congregate around water; summer brings newborns and bird migration but also thunderstorms and thicker vegetation.
