Brushes & Bubbles: Private Studio Parties in South Brisbane

At 15 Little Stanley Street South Brisbane QLD 4101, In Studio Private Event puts an arts-filled celebration into the center of Brisbane’s South Bank precinct. This private studio booking gives groups exclusive access to a dedicated painting space for 2–3 hours, ideal for birthdays, hens parties, team-building, or any occasion that wants to swap small talk for splashy color and hands-on making. Step inside and the room reads like an activity hub: long tables for painting and display, glassware and a fridge to keep BYO drinks chilled, and racks of canvases and paints ready to be chosen. The experience mirrors the studio’s public sessions but with perks: the whole space is yours, flexibility on start and end times when arranged in advance, and the option to commission a special painting for your event. Private bookings require a minimum of ten paid seats and are priced per person; evening events are possible with extra lead time and a higher minimum. What makes this offering special is how it anchors a creative moment in a lively cultural quarter. South Bank sits on the southern bank of the Brisbane River, a short walk from parklands, riverfront promenades and the Kurilpa Bridge pedestrian span. The studio’s location means guests can pair an arts session with a riverside picnic, a visit to the Queensland Art Gallery or a stroll through the fig-tree-lined parklands created after Expo ’88 reshaped the precinct. For visitors, that urban mix of water views, public art and leafy plazas gives a little outdoor contrast to the indoor, hands-on craft. The session itself is simple and social: choose a painting from the studio’s options, spread out on communal tables, bring snacks and drinks, and let staff guide newcomers through paints and techniques. All ages are welcome for private events, making it a flexible choice for family gatherings as well as adult celebrations. Hosts appreciate the practical add-ons—water, glassware, table space and refrigeration—so the logistics of food service stay tidy while everyone stays engaged in making. If you want an easy, memorable group activity in the heart of Brisbane’s cultural zone, booking In Studio Private Event turns an ordinary gathering into an intentional creative night. It’s a low-risk, high-fun way to make new work, laugh over paint spills and leave with personalized pieces that double as keepsakes of a day out in South Brisbane. Before you book, confirm the minimum and pricing with the studio: private events are sold per-person with at least ten paid seats, and evening slots have a higher minimum. Bring tableware and any specialty serving items; the studio provides basic glassware and refrigeration. If you need adjustments for mobility or special requests, contact the studio ahead of time.
